DaFuqBoom posted on X praising Kane’s accomplishment with “Backrooms” and A24 for accommodating this “creator-led” project, breaking his social media silence for the first time since February’s image post.
While this post did not touch on specifics, many fans noticed a dichotomy between this situation, and Alexey’s own situation with Invisible Narratives and Skibidi Toilet.
Most notably, Alexey had previously lamented how he had very little visibility into the creative process of the film project led by Invisible and Michael Bay.
By making this point about creator-led success, many felt Alexey might be hinting towards something that didn’t happen for him, and that he hopes this changes in future after success such as “Backrooms”.
Shortly after this post, fan analyst Iron Cameraman released a video, suggesting the idea that A24, given their attitudes to creator control, may be willing to work with Alexey and be a good candidate to purchase Skibidi Toilet. Iron suggests that the community should try and get their attention with the hashtag #A24Skibidi
