“Team Skibidi” member Achi, a new script overseer for the series under Invisible, confirms that their episode “82” used no notes from DaFuqBoom.
This surprised fans, as it was generally expected that a lore-heavy upload exploring backstory would be based on plans or notes from DaFuqBoom at the minimum.
This was also unexpected due to word from Invisible in a private call indicating that they had notes up to at least episode 82.
Implications
This revelation also arrived amid criticisms of 82’s logic and consistency with the story Alexey had established. Concerns fans had included inconsistent character abilities (such as G-Toilet flying without jetpacks, which Boom had deliberately retconned and avoided), simplified character relationships (such as G’s association with Astro Toilets on earth, presented as severed in 82, but implied as a more complex arrangement in earlier episodes), and the seemingly contrived nature in which major developments occur (such as a portal to earth appearing in an Astro prison).
This furthered concerns about this new continuation sharply diverging from what Alexey had intended.
