Invisible Narratives released the first trailer for the Skibidi Toilet: Emergence series on the now Inviz-owned DaFuq!?Boom! channel with Alexey Gerasimov as “Executive Producer”, following the release of the first episode on October 26th.
The trailer received a slightly more positive reaction than the previous Emergence upload, however a lot of issues from the first episode were still present. Cloth textures still appear flat and plain. There were also inaccurate models that lack crucial body components, such as Cameramen 3.0 without equipment, a Large Speakerman missing his head, and Speakermen using Camera 3.0 artillery.

Some fans claimed the models may have been sourced from Sketchfab and modified, which was concerning considering several Sketchfab projects appeared to fans as nearly identical to Emergence’s assets, including the same flat textures mentioned earlier.

Similar-looking models resembling Astro Juggernaut, Speaker Semi-Titan Executor, and Cameraman 3.0 can all be found on Sketchfab, which could explain the noticeable inconsistency in quality and detail between certain characters.
The animation quality still does not feel polished enough to match Boom’s relatively high production standards, which fans had come to expect from the series. Some scenes also come across as awkward or unfinished, such as the Speakerwoman spinning sequence where she spins extremely slowly while holding what resembles an awkward T-pose or “beyblade”, and moments where characters don’t react to being directly attacked, remaining in static poses.

Several shots feature bland environments with lifeless atmospheres, and the cheap-looking lighting only worsens the issue. Instead of resembling a modern episode of Skibidi Toilet, some scenes feel more comparable to an early Dark Zone-era episode. Cameraman 3.0’s blasters fire laser-like beams rather than the plasma orbs they traditionally use after obtaining Astro technology samples.
Astro Juggernaut also appears to have received a significant power nerf in both close- and long-range combat. His shockwave orb resembles a standard blaster shot similar to Titan Speakerman’s, while his punches appear far weaker, especially during the ending scene where he struggles against the Camera 3.0 squad.

At the beginning of the trailer, a Specialist is seemingly killed by another Astro unit. The attack resembles a flaming orange spiral of energy, which is not a type of attack Astros are seen using in the original series.

There are also noticeable size inconsistencies involving either the Interceptors or the Sledgehammers. During one scene where two Sledgehammers fight an Interceptor, a closer look suggests the Emergence Sledgehammer is roughly the size of the original SFM Big Blud, unless the Interceptor itself was scaled down.

The shaky camerawork combined with a low FOV and excessive zoom-ins still remain a persistent issue that was already heavily present in the first episode.
Fans also criticized the Secret Agent’s apparent shift in alignment. In the trailer he is portrayed as a villain seeking chaos, while in the first episode of Emergence he appeared more heroic and solution-oriented, and in the original SFM series he was largely neutral.
Fans also pointed to Specialists appearing to warp in and out of scenes, despite never previously possessing that ability. A Big Blud emitting an orange energy beam from his hammer during combat. Hammers are weapons used for close-range physical combat and have never been shown firing lasers. Even if such an ability existed, the beam should have been red to match the Speakermen’s signature color rather than orange, which is associated with the Astros.
Overall, while the scenes were conceptually more interesting than the first episode, many fans felt little had changed animation-wise.
