Corporatization of Boom

October 29th 2025

In late October, multiple social media accounts previously belonging to Alexey – on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and Discord – were being rebranded. The main indicator of this was a new “green” version of the iconic profile picture Alexey wore for years.

Here’s what Alexey himself had to say about the visual change:

Most shockingly, Alexey’s Instagram account had been completely renamed to “skibidi” and was temporarily stripped of all of its content history.

The original posts were later restored after fan outcry.

At the time, fans were beginning to theorise that Invisible Narratives may have taken operational control of these accounts, for use in advertising to promote merch and share news that benefits them.

On October 30th 2025

Alexey, still posting from the rebranded Discord account, came in contact with OneMoreAnimator about his recent Emergence fan re-animation calling it “W animation🔥“

This was the only normal message from him during the situation so far. Meanwhile, the rebranding of Alexey’s social accounts continued. Most notably, on the DaFuqBoom YouTube channel multiple playlists were removed, except the ones about Skibidi Toilet and Transformers.

Around the same time, Inviz has made multiple Instagram posts raising further concerns about their understanding of the series.

November 13 – Plungerman the “Investigator”

In a post intended to list character details, they labelled fan favourite Plungerman as an “investigator”.

Fans immediately flagged the mistake. Plungerman is only a fighter, he’s never investigated anything. They also list his height as “unknown”, even though they listed heights for the other characters on the same post. Fans also questioned why his height was listed as “unknown,” since he could be compared against similarly sized Cameramen in the series.

Around the beginning of November, Inviz posted this on Instagram asking fans who said the quote. The problem was: No character has ever said anything like this in the entire series.

Inviz later deleted this post from Instagram. This was later discovered to be a quote from a completely unrelated channel “GameToons”, from one of their Skibidi Toilet “fan” animations. This only added to the bizarre nature of the post, and put Inviz ownership and understanding of Skibidi Toilet under further scrutiny.

Alexey’s old Instagram account (now named “skibidi”) shared sponsored ads (posts that don’t show up on the account page, but will show up in peoples feeds) some time after the account name changed.

These ran from mid to late November. To many fans, these ads reinforced the impression that the account was now being used primarily for brand promotion.
