DoorCloser was one of Alexey Gerasimov’s earliest online identities and a secondary channel tied to his pre-Skibidi Toilet work. Originally used for reposts, Russian-language versions, and side content connected to Alexey and his longtime friend PowerCat, the channel became less central once Skibidi Toilet exploded on DaFuqBoom. Over time, it developed its own identity, more closely associated with Powercat’s original characters and projects.
When Skibidi Toilet took off, Alexey completely moved focus to his English channel DaFuqBoom, passing the DoorCloser channel to Powercat. Over time, the DoorCloser became its own thing with its own identity based on PowerCat’s OC.
However, fans believe Alexey has remained attached to it.

DoorClozer uploaded a YouTube Short titled “Incomplete.” The video shows a headless Cameraman, Speakerman, and TV Man walking around a world that is an alternate reality from the one in Skibidi Toilet, where the Skibidi Toilet conflict never even began. The characters wander around looking at their own severed heads. The description of the video talks about nostalgia.

Two days later, the full Skibidi Toilet episode 79 upload appeared on the DaFuqBoom channel.

The community noticed immediately that the quality had taken a visible dip compared to what came before. There were multiple cheap transitions throughout part one of the episode, and at the end Boom had added a TSM teaser and an advertisement. He was still keeping up his unusually corporate-sounding “AI” email responses at the time, which only added to the general sense that something was off.
October 14-15, 2025
the DoorCloser channel posted “Incomplete 2” which instead focused on the alliance side: the Cameraman, Speakerman and TV Man, this one shifted to the Skibidi Toilet side. G-Toilet, Scientist Toilet, and DJ Toilet are shown as humans, feeling incomplete, looking at their toilet forms. Like the first video, the description talks about nostalgia.

By now, the community had found both shorts and began theorizing. The animation quality looked strikingly similar to Alexey’s work, and the thematic content felt far too deliberate and personal to be a coincidence. The timing also drew attention, as the shorts dropped around Episode 79 and its noticeable quality issues. This made people pay even closer attention.
Community member Cool Cat broke it down further on October 24th on the Skibidi Toilet subreddit, noting that the animation style was eerily similar to Boom’s and that DoorClozer had never produced anything remotely close to this level before.
The fact that Alexey had co-owned the channel made it even harder to dismiss. It was never officially confirmed that Alexey created the videos, but it was never denied either.
CoolCat’s post pointed to was a photo visible in the background of the “Incomplete” footage: a picture of a cat that Boom had used in some of the earliest Skibidi Toilet episodes. That alone, she argued, is a clear personal signature. They also tied the description’s mention of nostalgia to Boom’s known feelings about the early days of the series, a simpler time before it became the massive operation it is now.
As for the title itself, the idea was that Alexey never got to finish the series the way he originally envisioned it, on his own terms, with his own complete creative control. “Incomplete” is, in that reading, a kind of mourning for the version of Skibidi Toilet that will never exist. Everything going forward will be different from what he originally wanted.
The imagery was also broken down carefully. The headless agents walking around and looking at their own heads could represent Boom seeing himself as the “head” of the series now separated from the body, which is the animation team carrying on without him directly animating. The body functions on its own, but the head still watches and remains in charge.
She also pointed to the song choice, which has deeply sad lyrics (Eyes without a face), and noted that Strider (a known collaborator) had commented heartbreak emojis on the video several days after it was uploaded, possibly around the time he learned Boom was stepping back from animating. There’s also a small detail about the camera in the video being a wall-mounted security camera, which lines up with the security camera footage style used in a recent Boom livestream, though Cool Cat left that one as a possible coincidence.
The post’s overall conclusion: Alexey is burnt out from carrying such a massive series alone, he got a team partly for that reason, and “Incomplete” is him quietly expressing everything he hasn’t said publicly, through a channel most people weren’t watching, in a style only his fans would recognize.
The fact that he co-owned DoorCloser with Powercat and has history with the channel going all the way back to its Instagram reupload days makes it the perfect place to do exactly that.
DoorCloser’s Posts
November 2025
DoorCloser posted an image for halloween, if you brighten the image, there is a secret message at the bottom left of the image, and it says, “something in the dark.”

December 26, 2025
DoorCloser posted a Christmas image on YouTube, brightening up the image, it shows Alexey’s Secret Agent self-insert character, and a woman either shaking hands or giving something to him. At first people believed this to be A;exey and Valve working together to fight back against Invisible Narratives (a rumor started by Santossar).
More recently, in season 5 of Human Being by DoorCloser, DoorCloser’s model is shown more closely and it appeared that DoorCloser is a woman based on the body shape.
One theory is that the picture in the post represents Alexey and Powercat working together in the shadows under the guise of “DoorCloser.”

A user named Балдёж!) posted confirmation of something people already suspected, that DaFuqBoom’s channel was originally just an English-language version of DoorClozer, and that before the Skibidi Toilet era, Boom consistently identified himself as DoorClozer across his personal pages and usernames. DoorClozer was his first YouTube account and his first media name.

DoorCloser made a community post stating “2026 is my year trust”. In this community post there’s a hidden message on the left side which reads “I’m still around”.

This message is written in the same font often used by Alexey in Skibidi Toilet. Given that fans believe Alexey is active on this channel, many assume this post is referring to Alexey himself.
Connection to Alexey
It was later discovered that DoorCloser’s channel used to be called “DafuqBoomRus” for a short period in 2023, providing further evidence of Alexey’s connection and prior ownership of this channel. This also gave more reason to believe Alexey may still be using it since losing his main DaFuqBoom channel.
This is further corroborated with the fact that DoorClozer’s old videos include Russian versions of booms own videos with swapped credits and onscreen text.

When you switch language to any non-english, DoorCloser’s channel description changes from “sfm animator aka powercat” to “who do you think I am”.

This has been theorised to be DoorCloser hinting at the fact PowerCat may not be the only one on this account. This matters because DoorCloser appears to have been one of Boom’s original accounts, used for Russian-language versions of his content before DaFuqBoom became his main English-language channel.
Fans also noticed that in old videos from Alexey, he often credits “PowerCat & DoorCloser”. Referring to himself as DoorCloser, while referring to PowerCat, his long time friend, separately.
